As a participant, you will be working with Microsoft products. That's awesome, right?! We'll need to adhere to a few rules before you can be rewarded or judged. The judging is not done by Microsoft, but by the Student Partner for Microsoft @ St. Clair College (Devin Pavao).

  1. Have fun, do not become overly stressed out or give up on your tasks! There are NO wrong or right answers.
  2. Do not use the tools provided to create or promote any malicious, pornographic, obscene, harassing, hateful or otherwise unwanted or unprofessional content. You will be immediately dismissed and your name will be forwarded to the college in case of misuse of school equipment.
  3. Do not harass, use racial slurs or create any uncomfortable scenarios for any participants. You will be immediately dismissed. No prizes, no food.
  4. DO ask questions. Stuck on something? It doesn't hurt to ask for a little bit of help. It's a learning experience.
  5. 2 hours will be provided to complete and submit the applications requested of you.
  6. The user with the most standing (applications that work) applications, receives prizes. Participant prizes may or may not be available for places other than First and Second. Stay tuned for updates.
  7. You forfeit any applications you create. Sounds pretty harsh right? It really isn't. You understand that just because you've participated or have won, you are not affiliated with Microsoft or the Student Partner program. You allow us to display your applications and the source code for your applications in public with or without your name. You agree to this by participating.
